OUTSIDE WALLS AND FLOORS

    These tiles must be frost resistant and certified by the manufacturer to be classified as outdoor tiles.  Suitable tiles are porcelain or pressed tiles because they have a low water absorption rate.  Klinker or cotto can be used as well, provided that they are glazed.  Unglazed tiles can become a problem because of their porous nature, dirt and grease will adhere to the miniature pores of the surface.
